Wonderful and profound experience during the 2nd line tour. It was the organization's first time in NOLA and our team appreciated learning about the rich and deep history. Our stories must be told. Our tour guide Dennis was incredible, knowledgeable, kind and passionate about his work and his home. Highly recommend the tour for anyone visiting NOLA. It's a must do! 10/10 recommend!

Jay was a great host during our Soul of New Orleans Tour! He had great information about the city and Hurricane Katrina. It was nice to stop at different locations and view local art, and the McDonogh elementary school that has so much history. Going into the neighborhood where the levee broke and seeing the water level marks first hand is life changing. I left the tour with so much knowledge about the city of New Orleans, and will be forever grateful for this tour! Highly recommend if you want to leave this city actually knowing the history behind it!

Soul of New Orleans tour. Dennis brings New Orleans history alive, leaving you wanting to start the tour all over again to take in all his knowledge. Take this tour on the first day you arrive to New Orleans. Your experience will look completely different - as it should. So thankful to have had Dennis leading the way on this tour. ❤️

We did the Forgotten New Orleans tour with Jay. Simply put... ....AMAZING TOUR SUPER AMAZING GUIDE! Jay was knowledgeable, funny, courteous, insightful and my list can go on and on but I am sure you get it. He definitely was one of the best parts of my trip and every time I visit NOLA moving forth, I will request Jay as my tour guide! Thank you for a wonderful tour packed with memories I will hold forever. Ya heard! Be blessed Baby💛💚💜

We visited New Orleans for New Year’s and booked with 2nd Line Tours — and I had an absolute ball. The city is full of rich history, and this tour brought it all to life. There was so much to see, and our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience fun from start to finish. If you’re visiting New Orleans and want a tour that’s both entertaining and full of culture, I definitely recommend 2nd Line Tours.

Do this tour on Day 1 of your arrival to New Orleans! Jay was a great tour guide! We enjoyed seeing New Orleans from a black perspective without anything being sugar coated. I will never look at the French Quarter buildings the same now that I can identify slave quarters of the wealthy, middle and poor slave owners. We also enjoyed learning and touring the neighborhoods of the lower ninth ward that was the most impacted by Hurricane Katrina. This is my third time to N.O. and there is still so much to see and learn. Truly love this city and will be doing another tour with 2nd line tours. Much love from the D!

This is a must do. I have been to this city several times and this van-based Culture Tour educated me on history I’ve never known. From the founding of New Orleans to its rich history before and after the breach of the levee, the guide gave us an amazing tour.

Dennis was the best guide ever! Very informative and entertaining. He made an already amazing experience even greater. I truly appreciated everything about this trip (Including the time allowed for NOLA lunch in the middle of the combo tour). I 10/10 recommend and look forward to coming again sharing this tour with family members.

I would like to thank Dennis for an absolutely unforgettable, in depth, informative, educational and eye opening Soul of New Orleans tour. It was my birthday and a few of my family members joined me who have lived here all their lives and they were given an education they'll never forget. Dennis had them laughing while he was educating at the same time, I recommend everyone to take this tour if you want the real about New Orleans. One of the highlights of the tour was meeting Ms Leona Tate, very humble lady, make sure to purchase her book when you make that stop.

What an informative and interesting tour. The driver Jay was very knowledgeable and amicable. The van was clean and comfortable. I just wished we could have visited more places in Treme or had been able to stop for individual photo ops. I would highly recommend taking the cultural tour with 2nd line Tours in New Orleans, Louisiana. They are conveniently located near the French Quarter on Canal Street.
